PTSO Meeting: January 25, 6-7pm via Zoom

ORHS PTSO Donation Drive

Who: YOU. In our efforts to enhance the atmosphere and experience at ORHS for everyone (students, teachers and administrators), we need as much participation from parents/guardians as possible.

When: Right Now!

Why: To help fund teacher requests and sponsor hospitality events to show our teachers, staff and administrators that we appreciate their hard work.

How: Donate directly to our Paypal account (ptsoorhs@gmail.com) OR send in cash or a check made out to “ORHS PTSO” to the front office. Click the "Donate" link at the top of this page.

Every penny is appreciated and will be put back into our school!

**Be on the lookout for an invitation from the Hospitality Committee to donate food to our upcoming teacher luncheon. If you can’t donate food, please consider donating to our Paypal account.

Welcome back to all returning families, and a WELCOME to all incoming 9th grade students and families.

Our students are fortunate to be at a school with an outstanding administration and exceptional faculty and staff. They all strive to fulfill the mission of promoting health, well-being, and educational success for ALL students. It is through your support of the PTSO that we join in that mission.

The Parent Teacher Student Organization serves our high school community in many ways. We provide a forum to discuss issues and concerns, inform families through newsletters, hold an Open House in August, and have parent seminars on a variety of topics.

We show appreciation for our teachers through various hospitality events, celebrate the success of seniors by hosting a Senior Tea, and by giving Senior Packets to all seniors at graduation.

Also, PTSO uses donated funds to grant teacher requests for specific items that cannot be covered under the shrinking classroom budgets. We accept requests from teachers in all departments, and fund grant requests for a wide variety of needs.

To accomplish this support, we need volunteer support and donations from families. Please fill out the PTSO donation/volunteer form. PTSO offers anyone the ability to get involved and make a real difference in the academic and social success of their child. No contribution is too small and all are greatly appreciated.
